life happens

sorry for the delay in posting, folks...like my title, life happens. i've been so busy with school and then trying to get more hours at work (because i'm broke :( !!) that i've just not had time to sit down and update, so here goes...
let's see, my car died this weekend, so i'm driving my daddy's huge truck. yucky. i feel so butch driving around in a truck! sorry, but i do! the car will be fixed though, so i'm not rid of it that easily! i found out this past week that i cannot graduate in may like i was planning/hoping. that rocked my world. i was devastated. i won't graduate until next may all because of one class, really. it's ridiculous, but i've met with the dean and the head of the department, and there's nothing i can do. sadness... i did have some good news though. on wednesday at 12:30 pm i will have a phone interview with kyle cravens and ms. mary in the fuge office to be the assistant director of the mississippi college centrifuge/m-fuge 2006 combo team! i'm really excited...kyle said the interview is just a formality and really just to get to know more about my specific computer and financial skills...but your prayers will still be much appreciated!! also, i found out that my wonderful, most awesome, incredibly great bestest buddy mike is doing soooo great! he is going to be able to come home wednesday!!! that makes me so happy, and i'm thankful to all of you who kept him in your prayers. from what i understand, he will still be going to nyc in a few weeks to have a procedure done, but he's in great stable condition now, and that's amazing. God is awesome! also, unlike last week and my last post, my parents are being really great right now. they were totally understanding about the whole graduating thing, which made me feel so comforted, and they've been there when i've needed them, especially with this whole mike thing. i was a little, hmm...moody - for lack of a better word - when i last posted, and definitely extremely emotional. i know, i know, it happens to the best of us. but everything is fine today, and that's all i can ask for! on another great note, (i know, the hits just keep on coming) CHRIS IS COMING THIS WEEKEND!!! so not only do we get mike back, but chris is coming too! just a red-letter week for me! and my birthday isn't for two weeks...just imagine how good it has to be to top this!! (yes that means my birthday is october 25th, for all those of you reading... remember that...) ok i think that's it... until next time!
