first, let me tell you that i returned an unopened calculator i thought i would need for a class i dropped just to get the cash to get this at midnight...sad, i know!
well, i go to walmart to be there at midnight when they bring out the videos...of course this didn't happen until like 12:30 - 12:45. and then, they tell us (being all the people there looking for gilmore girls and family guy...and there were lots, i really thought i'd be the only freak there) that they didn't get either of them on dvd, they only had the umd's. we even had the guy call the other nearest walmart, in batesville which is about 26 miles away...and of course they said they didn't have it either. actually they said they don't bring out their videos until the next morning anyway, but they went and looked. well, obviously i was dissatisfied with this response so i decided i would wander around walmart looking for anything else i might need, but really just so it wouldn't be so obvious that i didn't believe them and i was waiting it out. well i wandered for about half an hour, checked back, and of course, after everyone else had gone on to other walmarts in various directions but all an hour away, they did indeed have both gilmore girls season 4 and the family guy dvd's. i lucked out. actually, i just refused to accept the information they gave us. i knew walmart had never failed me before, and this was not the day sam walton would let me down.
so now, lorelei, rory, and i are going to chill for a while...it's time to head to yale!

that's awesome! i'm so broke. i'm trying to come up with a way to get it for myself. but season 3 should be arriving in the mail in just a few minutes.
well, apparently i can't even stay awake long enough to watch more than one episode! i've tried twice already and i fall asleep about 10 minutes into the second episode i start watching...i don't know what's wrong! so i guess my suggestion is get plenty of sleep before you attempt to take on a season...
you are insane. you go to all that trouble and then fall asleep?!?!?! what a weirdo. hope you get to watch it sometime.
i've been there before...didn't that happen to us a couple times when we tried to watch seasons 1 & 2 this summer? over the course of the week i'm pretty sure we spent as much time sleeping as we did watching gilmore girls.
i think you're right, amy. we did lots of sleeping and watching that week...just laying in your room all day...

and to taneka and everyone else that was confused by my post, i didn't drop the class just to buy season 4! i dropped the class a couple weeks ago, but just returned the insanely over-priced calculator yesterday...so there.
but how much better would your story have been if you had dropped a class to buy the season...
